Memorial Day Weekend //

One perk of being in a long distance relationship {yes, there are upsides} is the opportunity to travel. Last week I was lucky enough to not only go see my special someone but I got to venture to a new place as well. My bags were (over)packed, boarding pass was printed and I was ready to see what Portland, Maine had in store! Since I was flying across the country I made sure to dress cozy and comfy hence the sweatshirt. A near 6 hours later the wheels touched down and Memorial Day Weekend had officially begun!

Before heading to a new place I always like to do a little research. I am a sucker for Googles "top 10 things to do in ___"  With that being said, our days were jam packed as we did our best to hit all the "most do's" in town.

Hiking √ Lighthouse tours √ Sightseeing √  Biking √ Stuffing our face with seafood √ (that lobster though, NOM) Baseball game(s) √ Ferry Trips √ Rounding out the perfect weekend with a beautiful sunset √√ If you get the chance to visit Portland - take it! It's charm will truly captivate you.
