What To Wear To A Wedding: Do's + Dont's
Wedding season is in full swing and even though I love an excuse to dress up and pretend that calories in cake don’t count it sure does a number on my bank account. Who knew that friends falling in love came with such a big price tag! Below are a few rules to remember when dressing for a wedding and twelve dresses all under * drum roll please * $200.
1. It’s not all about you. Seriously, this is not your day so don’t try and steal the show with a dress that will distract from the bride. Also, it should be no shock to you that wearing white is completely off limits.
2. Weddings are totally a time to have fun by getting dressed up and showing off your favorite feature. My rule of thumb is to show just one feature (legs, shoulder, or back) this is not the time and place to bear it all!
3. Paying attention to detail is absolute key. Before you go shopping make sure to check the invite for dress code and if you are ever in doubt play it safe by purchasing a dress that falls somewhere in the middle, length wise.
