24 DIY Essential Oil Roller Recipes
Fall wedding season is finally here! Not to mention halloween, thanksgiving and fun, autumn themed bashes at work. Whatever you're celebrating, fall is a wonderful time of year to celebrate. Even if not for a specific event, get your girlfriends together and have a fall-themed get together. No matter the occasion, I’ve come across a fall art activity that work great as gifts or just a group DIY project: essential oil rollers!
These recipes by FragranceX are completely do it yourself, meaning they’re a meaningful gift AND a fun experiment. Essentially, all of the 24 recipes require gathering organic ingredients (hooray for sustainability !!) and mixing them together in 10mL dropper or roller bottles. For example, for the “Keep Calm and Carry On” blend, you need to add four drops of lavender, two drops of vetiver and one drop of clary sage. It’s that easy! These will yield multiple uses and can be paired with fun packaging to really complete the whole package. The best part? These rollers come with printable labels.
“Where My Beaches At?”, “Breath of Fresh Air”, “Focus and Plan” are some of the names, but really, the entire gamut of moods is really covered (yes, there even is a “Hangover Detox” recipe with peppermint, eucalyptus, ginger and rosemary -- for when things get a little more wild after the crafts are finished). The original intent of these were to be used as wedding shower gifts -- which would be such a wonderful, personal way to thank your favorite ladies. But I really think they could even be a good personal DIY. Essential oils are a great way to relax and take a moment for yourself -- which is so crucial these days. Having some at work or next to your bed can help calm you down when it’s needed the most -- plus, hey, they’re cute decorations, too!
