Who knew that quarentine would lead to a green thumb! Another wonderful way to get outside and enjoy the changing weather is to plant an at home garden. While the process isn't overnight, it's a fun ongoing project that you can nurture as time goes on. If you are gardening beginning, here a few steps to get you started:

  • First things first: research which vegetables grow best in your climate and the best way to care for each plant. Having a solid foundation of knowledge before digging holes would be the smartest route to take.

  • Location is everything! Picking the right location will affect how your vegetables grow so, add that in to your research. In most cases, a sunny location with moist soil in a stable environment is best.

  • Starting small is best. Choose a handful of vegetables to get you started. Once you feel comfortable with growing and tending to them then you can add another row of fresh gardening!
